Joshua has over 10 years of experience in the field of behavioral health. His servant leadership, compassion, and commitment to treating everyone he encounters as family has led him to work at an adult living facility (ALF) and serve as a Recreational Therapist for juvenile youth, addressing a wide range of diagnoses and support plans. Additionally, Joshua has experience as a Direct Care Worker in a group home setting, where he offered social support, direct care, medication disposal, and provided transportation for residents to medical appointments and events. As the Program Administrator, Joshua is dedicated to professional development and will complete 18 hours of training per calendar year.
His journey began not just as a professional but as someone deeply committed to safety, teamwork, and advocacy within the community. Today, Joshua leads Heartland Behavioral Homes with the belief that we are all - United Together Serving as One -.

At Heartland Behavioral Homes, our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities. Our dedicated team, equipped with years of experience in caregiving, direct support, and disability services, operates with a profound understanding of the challenges our clients encounter—and an unwavering belief in their limitless potential.
Our team consists of trained and compassionate professionals who are committed to delivering the highest quality care. During a 14-day orientation period, staff members will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of how HBH conducts business while caring for residents. Additionally, staff will undergo cross-training in various service areas within the agency. Each staff member is also required to complete 12 credit hours of training annually.
